LEPC Membership and Officers

LEPC members are volunteers who represent various organizations, agencies, departments, facilities, and/or other groups within the district. The Delaware County Commissioners are responsible for nominating prospective LEPC members to SERC, who will then, by formal resolution, appoint the members of the LEPC for a two-year term. Ohio Revised Code outlines the disciplines that will be represented on the LEPC, ensuring that at least one representative from the following 12 categories: community groups, elected officials, emergency management, facilities (subject to ORC3750), firefighting, first aid, health, hospitals, law, local environmental, media, and transportation.
